Terra Origins Coffee Mug 012

This mug is shaped and fired by hand in Jingdezhen, then completed with a naturally formed Egyptian stone as its handle.
Distinguished by its layered mineral patterns and softly weathered surface, Egyptian stone lends a quieter sense of character to the piece. In contrast to the smooth ceramic body, the stone introduces depth, weight, and a tactile richness that feels naturally refined in hand.
Each mug is paired with a uniquely selected piece of Egyptian stone, resulting in subtle variations in colour, veining, proportion, and balance. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Existing somewhere between function and sculpture, the object is intended for daily use, yet retains the presence of something collected rather than simply owned.
