Terra Forms Candle Holder 001

This piece is made slowly, by hand, in Jingdezhen — not as a reproduction of tradition, but as a continuation of it.
The form is intentionally simple and elongated, allowing proportion and balance to take focus rather than surface decoration. Its presence is quiet, but deliberate.
Rather than aiming for uniformity, each piece carries slight shifts in glaze, tone, and finish — subtle marks left through shaping, firing, and handling.
Ceramic brings a different kind of weight to a space. It absorbs light rather than reflecting it, holding a softer, more grounded presence. When lit, the candle does not just illuminate the object, but reveals its depth gradually.
Placed alone or in a group, it sits comfortably without demanding attention.
